Clayton Welch - Founder
With over 20 years of hands-on experience in transmission planning and utility interconnection across many U.S. RTOs and ISOs, Clayton has successfully led numerous generation and load interconnection projects from initial screening to commercial operation. His former roles include senior transmission planning positions at a utility, renewable developer, and consulting, providing him with unique insight into both the developer and transmission owner perspectives. He founded Nexiom Energy Consulting to offer the kind of responsive, technically rigorous, and enthusiastic support that he felt was largely missing in the industry.
